"A band that plays with honesty and passion...with real grit and musical chemistry. You can tell they mean every note."
BIO
State of Mind are a young indie rock band from Lincolnshire who are determined to prove that loud, guitar-driven music is still very much at the forefront of the music scene. With BBC Introducing East Midlands and BBC Orbit already giving them airplay, this is a band building real momentum the right way – big riffs, big leads and even bigger choruses, all delivered with grit, passion and genuine musical chemistry.
Tom, Will, Jack and Harry having been making music since 2023, blurring the lines between indie and rock, influenced by 90s grunge, 00s indie and classic rock sounds. Their music has that unmistakable live band feel. They bring youthful dynamism to the stage, their shows offering opportunity for getting crowds involved & described as ‘raw, authentic & full of classic band energy.’
Their debut album, Anything and Everything, was released in July 2026.
Next up the band are playing at The Royal Albert Hall, London on 9th November, before supporting The Rosadocs on their UK tour.

Reviews
"Love that right off the bat you showed us your personality as a band, delivering your intro with a dry wit and effortless vibes. Some classic treble-heavy, distorted guitar tone, balanced with your strums and the warm foundation of the bassline, your drummer in the pocket. And a clear yet classic vocal tone, then COME ON with those BVS! Seamless unison lines, then some iconic harmony on the final moments of the chorus. I love the timelessness you’ve managed to weave into your sound, with elements of punk and pop-punk, but then this sort of Beatles-ish element to your vocal harmony. Real strong indie vibes, mixing the classic with new ideas and serving personality amongst it all." - July 2026, Bridget Walsh
"Don’t Try and Change Me brings everything together in one final, explosive statement. It rips into life with a savage ripsaw riff before sliding into a verse that The Stone Roses would have killed to write. This is State of Mind at their most complete, blending sweetness and aggression into one perfectly sculpted audio journey. The chorus is a full-blown earworm, the kind that burrows in and refuses to leave, while the drumming drives the song forward with real authority. The emotional, understated guitar solo fits perfectly, adding depth rather than flash. It’s a defining track that showcases exactly what this band is about." - January 2026, Band Assist
"If State of Mind keep doing what they're doing - writing from the heart and staying true to classic band energy - they've got something very special ahead of them." - October 2025, Nick Hancock
